How estimates work

Routewatch draws an estimated great-circle path between airports, then checks curated landmarks near that path.

Left and right are based on the direction of travel along the estimated route.
Times are estimated from route progress and the flight duration you provide or adjust.
Confidence is based on distance from the estimated route and the landmark's view range.
Daylight is a simple local-time estimate, not a weather or visibility forecast.
